Bible Verses

How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! [Psalm 119:103]

These are some of my favorite verses to help me get through daily life. Hopefully they remind you as well of how faithful God’s promises are and how faithful He will always be.

Give Me Faith

I may be weak, but Your Spirit’s strong in me. My flesh may fail, my God You never will. -“Give Me Faith” 

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. [Isaiah 55:9]

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. [Ephesians 3:20]

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. [Hebrews 11:6]

And Jesus said to Him, ” ‘If you can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said, “I do believe. Help my unbelief.” [Mark 9:23-24]

He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. [Psalm 91:4]

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. [Isaiah 41:10]

We walk by faith, not by sight. [2 Corinthians 5:7]

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. [Romans 8:28]

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. [Hebrews 11:1]

Love So Undeniable

Oh it’s love so undeniable, I can hardly speak. Peace so unexplainable, I can hardly think. As you call me, deeper still, into love, love, love. You’re a good good Father, it’s who You are. -“Good Good Father”

The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. [1 John 4:8]

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love, because He first loved us. [1 John 4:18-19]

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. [John 15:13]

Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart

Give thanks with a grateful heart. Give thanks to the Holy One. Give thanks, because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son. -“Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart”

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. [James 1:17]

For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it? [1 Corinthians 4:7-9]

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. [1 Thessalonians 5:16-18]

Then David the king went in and sat before the Lord, and he said, ‘Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far?’ [2 Samuel 7:18]

Oh to Be Like You

Oh to be like You, give all I have just to know You. Jesus there’s no one beside You, forever the hope in my heart. -“Scandal of Grace”

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. [Romans 12:2]

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. [Revelation 3:20]

Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? […] But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. [Matthew 6:26, 33-34]

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. [1 Corinthians 10:13]

He must increase, but I must decrease. [John 3:30]

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. [Matthew 7:21]

If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me. [Luke 9:23]

Be still and know I am God. [Psalm 46:10]

Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. [2 Timothy 2:22]

The Truth

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. -John 14:6

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. [2 Corinthians 5:21]

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. [Galatians 2:20]

More than that,  I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ. [Philippians 3:8]

Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.  [Psalm 139:16]

Lord, make me to know my end and what is the extent of my days; let me know how transient I am. [Psalm 39:4]

I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. [John 15:5]

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. [Acts 4:12]

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all. [1 Timothy 2:5-6]

You search the Scriptures because you think in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. [John 5:39-40]
